Betty grew up and attended school in Delta, CO and graduated from Delta High School in 1955. She was employed at Colorado Bank and Trust for 27 years when she retired to become Resident Managers of Dayton Place Retirement Home in Denver, CO along with her husband, Paul. Betty and Paul loved their time at Dayton Place and when they retired in 2001, they were loved and appreciated by both residents and staff. Betty's joy in her life was first and foremost her family. She was a devoted wife who became her husband's constant companion after his gradual loss of eyesight and of late, Alzheimer's Disease. Betty was also an avid reader and enjoyed hand and machine embroidery and cross -stitch. Betty was church organist and pianist at First Baptist Church in Delta for many years. She played for countless weddings, funerals and accompanied many vocalists, starting when she was in the 8th grade.
